Estrace (Estradiol) is available as a tablet and an injection to increase estrogen levels. It is used after menopause to reduce vaginal dryness, pain during sex, hot flashes, night sweats, prevent osteoporosis, and to treat advanced prostate cancer. The tablets are also used to treat some types of breast cancer.
